Durham County

Durham CountyPolice Detective Mike Sweeney is in his early 40s. A hardboiled homicide detective, he's a guy's guy who grew up on the wrong side of the tracks in Durham County, the kind of guy whose prized possession is a vintage Mustang. His wife's battle with cancer has shaken him up more than he'll admit to himself, his kids or even to his wife Audrey. What's left of Detective Sweeney's world is shattered when his partner is murdered in front of him, though he tries to hold it all together for his family. Transferring from the big city back to Durham County to make a new start in what he thinks are safer surroundings, Mike soon finds his past coming back to haunt him. A string of murders hits close to home, old wounds are opened and hidden facts revealed. What remains of Mike's damaged world crumbles when Nathalie, the woman he is having an affair with, is murdered.

Flashpoint

FLASHPOINT is a high-stakes ensemble police drama about a team of elite cops that handle the calls ordinary cops can't. Highly trained in swat tactics and psychology, this specialized unit uses state-of-the-art weaponry - sniper rifles, snake-cameras, and robotics - along with expert negotiating tactics, to take down - or talk down - hostage-takers, terrorists, and bomb-makers and delve deeply into the psychology of the human beings at the center of each week's flashpoint. Leading the team are Enrico Colantoni (Veronica Mars, Just Shoot Me) as the emotionally brilliant Gregory Parker, the SRU's head negotiator and Hugh Dillon (Durham County, ReGenesis) as Ed Lane, alpha male and tactical brain of the SRU.

The Quality of Life

Da Vinci has to walk the razor's edge between morality and political compromise when a domestic servant of a national media mogul is murdered after a sex soirée... and an elaborate cover-up ensues.

Dominic Da Vinci hosts a big city mayors' conference that is upset when he and one of his guests become key witnesses and possible suspects in a murder after a political soirée and private sex-party that followed. Da Vinci is pulled further into the investigation when event hosts, media magnate Charles Greenborne and his wife Katherine, engineer an elaborate cover-up along with their associates, including the consummate professional fixer, Jean Tellier.

Da Vinci, having matured in his tenure as Mayor of Vancouver and now being pressured into running for Premier, finds himself having to walk the razor's edge between morality and the abyss of political compromise.

This noirish thriller, helmed by director John Fawcett, and starring the award-winning Da Vinci ensemble, is written by Chris Haddock and Alan DiFiore.
